Meet Osteopath Dr Rhiannon Gatt
Rhiannon enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions, but has a particular interest in postural strains, including neck and lower back pain. She will often give patients advice about how they can adjust their work spaces to help reduce posture related aches and pains, along with her hands on treatment. Rhiannon loves being able to make a positive difference in people’s lives through osteopathy.
Rhiannon has completed a Bachelor of Science (Clinical Sciences) and a Master of Health Science (Osteopathy) at Victoria University. She has completed further training in dry needling, and cupping, which she can incorporate into her treatments. She has also completed training in Clinical Pilates, which includes the use of Pilates equipment, such as the reformer. She firmly believes that rehabilitation exercises are important for the long-term benefit of the patient, and will often incorporate stretches and strengthening exercises, including Clinical Pilates, into her treatments.
Outside of osteopathy, Rhiannon loves hiking and just generally being out in nature. She enjoys working out to a good Spotify playlist, and watching movies, especially thrillers and rom-coms. Rhiannon also enjoys spending time with family and friends, usually over a good meal.
